I was just wondering do any of you reckon that there might be some way of getting the new PS3 six-axis wireless controllers to work with the 360??

I mean would it be possible? Do they use the same technology??

Just something I was thinking bout. What you reckon??

I'd imagine it'd need some 3rd party USB dongle to spoof the 360 into thinking it's a wired 360 pad.

360 games wouldnt be coded to uses the tilt function even if you could get the ps3 pad to work.

Two completely different technologies so there's no way to get them to communicate directly. With some kind of third party add-on it might be possible but dunno if we'll ever see one.

Who'd want to do it anyway? No rumble and its looks like a light piece of ****.

I remember there is a guy who has modded the wireless and wired 360 controller to use the tilt function in games. Just google it.

360 pads are WiFi and PS3 are bluetooth I think. 2 different technologies.

With one of these: (see pic) it's a 'XFPS 360' mouse and keyboard adapter for Xbox 360 for FPS games and if you like a ps2 controller too.

Why would you want to though, the dual shock pads are so uncomfortable..

    That looked very fake.

even if it wasnt he had probably modded it so that the tilting was registered by the 360 as though it were the analogue stick turning. that would not happen with a PS3 pad without alot of work.

Why dont you just tilt the controller when you're pressing the button and pretend its a PS3 controller?
