Hey guys, Recently the last few days my N70 wasn't displaying new messages or vibrating.. Very irratating.

So I decided to use the Nokia Software update utility.. Ran it and it did the job fine. Sorted my issue..

Later in that same evening I was in work, I recieved a message and I went to open it and it wasn't in my inbox when I got in. But the little message symbol in the corner of the home screen was there. So I got home reinsatlled the Firmware again through the nokia utility and the phone started flashing halfway. Next thing I knew the phone was off ( Btw, it was fully charged ) I went to power it on and it doesn't power on  It just flashes the screen and keypad a few times and switches off.. No matter what I do.

Its about 7 months old, bought from vodafone in the Blanch shopping center...

Does anybody know what I have to do in order to get this repaired or will they replace / repair it under warranty ?

Really annoyed I am. Don't like using my K800i so I want to get this in working order ASAP. What are the normal procedures does anybody know ?

    Thanks,
    HJ

My advice would be to go into a Vodafone shop with it. They should be able to sort you or tell you what you need to do.

Well I was planning to do that tomorrow but just wondering what I am to expect. I presume its a major firmware failure and the phones F***ED. Do vodafone offer replacements or do they send the off to nokia ? Because I can't be arsed dealing with yet again another long wait waiting for retailers to send products to manufactures for repairs as it takes forever!

Anybody know what they will do ?

Bring it to the Mobile Phone Repair Company in Sandyford, as it's within Nokia's 2 year warranty they will reflash it the same day for you for free
