    .5/1 Effective Stacks $60, 6 Max

    Im UTG+1 (or CO-1 whichever you prefer:rolleyes: ). I have AKo

UTG (TAG player, doesnt get out of line at all) raises to 4$,

I call, folded back to the SB (another tight ABC player) who raises to $20, Original raiser calls,

Ah sure why not shove. Probably loads of reasons why not actually, but it's your money.

1 tight guy raises, your AK doesnt look great. Another tight guy reraises, your AK looks real bad. Fold. Pushing is bad unless you think the 2nd guy might be squeezing, and at 50 1 with a preditcable TAG I think thats very unlikely

you never have a big pair when you push here and are always getting looked up and by hands that crush you

Why can the tight ABC player not have 10-QQ here.

Surely this is not KK or AA enough to make pushing bad ?

We are pushing 56 to win about 45 ? Even if we are up against KK we stil win about 34% of the time. All the rest of the time we race with great odds on our money. (Except of course AA)

this is my line of thinking also, this is not the first time ive put up this type of a hand and I am costantly left wondering why ppl persist in thinking its a push - clearly its down to style.. I recall reading with interest PillowTalks comments on how he adjusted the way he plays AK and it how it has made a difference to his results.

Flop came K high, SB pushed, UTG instacalled - both showed AKo

what odds on 3 players getting AKo in 6 max?

Tight abc players tend to just call with TT - JJ

I very much doubt we ever have folding equity when we push. We have to expect the hand to be three way. And their ranges crush us. We are about 25% to win against TT+, AK range for both players, which i think is about right.

fold. If you push expect the SB will call and the first guy will fold. You will hardly ever get through them both, you will never be called by AQ and there won't be much dead money if you're in a coinflip.
