When you go to post a message click on the paper clip button thingy press browse and double click on pics.

If the upload is failing you're probably exceeding the file size limit.

open the pics on you computer and save them as a jpeg file. then the upload should work. it does for me anyway.

and about youtube i have singed up but when i get the confirmation e-mail and i click on the link it brings me back to the registration page and i have no idea what to do

I think that song is by Incubus. I have that album around the apartment somewhere, I'll check later.

I've been doing a few experiments with a camera on the rail of my rifle so hopefully in a few weeks my input recorder will arrive and I can make a muzzle-view of full skirmish.

The camera itself is pretty small, it's something I used to use for boroscoping engines, it's only about 1 cubic inch in size, so it's unlikely to be hit. I may get a housing sorted for it too though, just in case, in part because I have to sort out some decent mounting system that doesn't revolve around insulation or speed tape. But I have plenty of replacement lenses.

Normally you don't have a camera when boroscoping but I rigged one to my kit for a couple of jobs that needed a video for the damage record. The camera has been lying idle since.

Finally got the video-input recorder, here's a quick test of it. Thick as I am, I left the battery pack in work so this is limited. I'm still unsure as to where I'll mount it yet. This is behind the battle sights on my G36k. I'm considering some way of mounting it within a scope or a reflex sight.]

I got a Youtube PM from some guy who didnt give his name, but was complaining that his picture was included in the video even though he explicitly said not to.

I told him to either contact you directly through this board, or to give me exact details on where he is in the video. Maybe then you can edit the video???? I don't see what the big deal is about having your pic in a video unless he's part of some witness protection program or something bizarre like that. I'm not sure where Youtube stands on the matter. I don't think it's illegal or against the youtube rules to post video's of the public without their permission, so I've left the video as it is for the moment.

im of the same opinion as that guy, i dont like my image being online, not ashamed of myself or anything, but just a personal preference. hence the reason why i left my mask on for the photos

It wouldnt matter anyway, that would give HRTA permission to use images that they themselves created, that video was made by Irish_trinity using images that he made and then it was uploaded to youtude by Crazyrabbit at no point was HRTA invloved so the video would still have to be taken down or at the very least edited.

I made the video Private so nobody can view it except me (so that I can see who it is that wants their image removed, so that it can be done in a re-edit). I don't have the original anymore.

This brings up the point of future pics/videos. Do we have to start getting people to sign forms giving permission for their image to be posted on the net?

I'm not too keen on pics/videos of me either, but I don't care enough to be bothered asking someone to remove anything already posted.

Maybe some people don't like having pictures of themselves put up online while done up in military gear and holding an AEG. I wouldn't have a problem with it myself, but you know..some people are just weird
