Setting up Pokertacker for Pokerstars

I've only ever used Pokertracker for FTP and Tribeca hands before but I've played thousands of hands on Pokerstars both PLO and NLH and I'd like to see the stats. I understand that you have to do something with your e-mail?? (Eircom.net btw).

Can anyone tell me how to set it up?
Do I have to do anything to get it working for NLH tourneys?

Do you have Stars setup to store the hand histories locally? if you do, you set up the import window in the exact same way as with tribeca and ftp, ie just selecting the hh storage location.


Else, I think you can request an email of hand histories from the stars options dropdown menu. They're sent to your registered stars address as far as i remember.

Stars can email you your last 2000 HH's I think, and also stores them locally which you can setup to keep for a set period of time. I think the default is only a week or two, so you might not be able to get any beyond that.

In general it is the same as any site to set up, and less troublesome than some.

Ok, Pokerstars was saving them to the hard drive but only keeping them for 30 days

One more question: What's the story with all the tourneys I've played? Will Holdem Pokertracker auto gather all that info?

As you play them it will gather it once you have the auto import window running.

For other tournies, you need to request the hhs from Stars if they're not stored locally.
