    latest....

Ireland won the toss and elected to field first
    Canada 99/7 (28.0 ov)

Doing quite well at an early stage again.

Canada 115 all out (32.5 overs)

Very good. Would like to see us hit over 200 now.

wonder if it was a mistake to field first, after getting the canadians all out so cheaply presumably our guys won't get much batting practise. 36/1 off 9 overs. Kenny Carroll out cheaply but bray and morgan look in good shape. i'd be a bit worried about the amount of extras we gave away 24 from 32 overs is very poor. Great to see Boyd Rankin the 6'8 bohemoth turning in such good economy figures of 10/26/1 which for a fast bowler is superb. can't wait to see the lads in the flesh next week, here's hoping we can do the same to the zimbabweans!

Considering we've been bowling a lot in the 2nd innings in ODI's (at the death of the match) some practice bowling first is fine. As they are all daytime games, its ideal too.

73/3 off 20 getting there, pity no-one is hanging around with bray, he's on 29, morgan went for 18, n o'brien for 10, carroll for 1. botha is in there with him now, surely we can't lose this one? though i think i said that a few times recently!

Nice one, things looking a bit better after the world cricket league division 1 competition in Kenya, what a result it would be if we beat the Zimbabweans and got a shakey Pakistan side

Just to clarify that remark I was under the impression that the extra overs would be played in the warm up matches, obviously not.

Does anyone know if there will be any sort of live coverage available for the Zimbabwe/Pakistan/Windies matches for those of us who don't have Sky Sports :(. Can't see anything in the RTE website.

Radio or even short wave coverage?
