Bit of a quandary here! Bit of a quandary here!

I update podcasts and stuff on my Creative Zen M:Vision every day.. but i don't wanna start charging it every time i plug it in as i am paranoid about battery life and durability being lessened from constantly plugging in and plugging out the Zen and it charging for short bursts between it. You know what i mean?

Is there any way to disable the charging via USB? I just want it to be docked and allow transfer of my media etc.

PS - girlfriend has a similar request for her iPod Mini which charged via USB.
