Just wondering, does anyone know when this month this is due?
I just remembered the other day that it's coming out this month, yet I haven't heard anything about it.

Couldn't find an exact date - late March / early April seems to be the date quoted in most places. Needs some bug fixes - of the very few times my Wii froze, it was in the browser beta.

I actually was wondering about this earlier today myself and went to Opera's site and found the following:

"Availability

Nintendo is currently offering a free trial of Opera for Wii which is now available for download. The release of the final version of the Opera browser for Wii is currently scheduled for late March 2007. Opera for Wii will remain a free download until June 30, 2007. After June 30, Opera will be available for download from the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii points. Users who download Opera before June 30, 2007, can continue to use the browser at no cost for the lifetime of the Wii system."

Well at least that's that question answered, everyone was wondering if it was only free until June, then everyone would have to pay to use/continue to use it.

Hope they put a search bar into the first screen so you dont have to go to a search site first.

And fix the Zoom function, And actually make pages readable at default Zoom.
There is a lot that needs to be tweaked with the current beta browser.

The trial version is very basic compared to the final. The final should be more like Opera actually is on most OSs, they're even including its widgets
