I got two games for the Wii. Both were Game Cube Games.
Metroid Prime & Pokemon Colosseum and I am loving them both I think a lot of us that didn't do importing missed a great console now Im desperate to catch up with what I missed.

Na in my oppinion Colosseum is quite crap.

I never played a pokemon game before Im enjoying it but others seem to think there are much better ones and they would know

Metroid Prime is one of my favourite games. Have got Metroid Prime 2 and disliking it intensely at the moment, that Dark Aether thing is really annoying me.

NFS: Underground is pretty sweet, I'll probably check out Carbon when I finish. And Ikaruga? Man, that game is loco.

huh.. I got metroid Prime for the Gc and I absolutely Hated it

vile, disgusting game imo.. but then I've never come across an fps I thought did well on a console

I still have about 15 gamecube games that I would simply never part with.

Anyone that hasn't played RE4 owes it to themselves to grab the cube version, as the PS2 and PC versions, while adding an extra mission and weapons, neither look or play quite as well.

Heresy. MP is one of the best games I've played in years. However if you are looking for generic fps thrills you are in the wrong place. It has more in common with zelda than any fps. Its basically the same game but just viewed from the first person. Combat is secondary to exploration.

it's the controls I got pissed off at more than anything else, if the Gc came with a mouse and keyboard I'm sure I would have loved it

the wii is the first console to make a decent stab at fps's imo, nothing amazing out yet.. but it's different enough from the mouse/keyb combo and it actually adds something new and exciting to the experience.. unlike the ps2/xbox/Gc controllers which are just horribly unsuited to the genre.

Well said Mordeth, very true.

Thing with Metroid Prime (And MP2) was that they specifically made it so it didn't feel like a FPS. As they branded it, it's a FPA - First Person Adventure.

The controls for MP3 on the Wii will be more like the controls for the other Wii FPS games, but will also be different because they will have the lockon/scanning thing from the other MP games too, so don't be hoping they're gonna be the best FPS controls on the Wii, as thats how I've been reading some people referring to it.

I love RE4, it rocks. Does anyone have a copy they want to sell because I only got a loan of it.
