it seems a bit dark, but that could be my monitor. It might have been nicer if the material in the foreground was flattened down, i don't think it could be cropped out tho!
    good effort anyway...

    :)

A lovely capture. I wouldn't brighten it up, it looks good as it is to me anyway.

Looks a tad dark, is that natural lighting or have you dodged and burned it? or shadow/highlight?
    However it's a nice shot.

Interesting shot! As said above little dark, maybe try again and adjust the lighting?

I like the lighting - draws my eye to the centre and highlights the eyes even more.

Lovley shot Cambo. Not sure I agree with Ruu, georgey, shepthedog, Fionn or solus (:D) though, I like the fact that not every detail is viable. I think it adds to the shot. Well done

thanks for all the comments. I can see now that it is a bit dark. I had processed it on my laptop which has a hella bright screen, so I thought it was ok. I had to darken the top right corner because there was something (cuddly toy or something) behind her head that was quite distracting.

Oh, I've just discovered the joys of the vignette :D
