ROI Setanta sub for an NI card

    Hi,

As RTE have lost all the rights to Sat afternoon Prem footie from next season I am thinking about a Setanta sub. I know Setanta block out these games to people north of the border. Does anyone know if there is a way around this? Is it possible to blag it with the Setanta call centre even though I have an NI card? I don't want to miss out!

    Thanks for your help!

Nope, when you give them your sky viewing card number, they can check the database from Sky and automatically see that its a NI address.

Actually, a way around it would be to sign up to Setanta as a non sky digital subscriber, in this case Setanta would issue you with a new viewing card and it would only then carry the Setanta package. I would imagine though that you would need a ROI address for this.

Thanks Aquos76, I may look to resubscribe via ROI.
