Cheapest Mobile Phone?

Sorry - ammmmm I would put this in the mobile phone section, except since yesterday evening, everytime I log onto Boards.ie, there is no menu selection at all on the top!

Is this happening for anyone else?

Anyways, I broke my mobile at the weekend. I was wondering what would be the cheapest mobile to buy? I am on the vodafone network - does this mean that I can only buy vodafone phones? I dont know if the SIM card is unlocked or not.

    Thanks!

You can still navigate through boards without the shortcuts. Click forums button on the front page, use the drop down menu at the bottom of each page or just use this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/index.php

It's the phones that are locked not the SIMs so you'll most likely need to buy another vodafpone one to use with your SIM. Look on the vodafone site for the cheapest, usually get a tenner off by buying online and free credit and all that good stuff.

Only phones are locked, not sim cards. A Vodafone sim card though is obviously only ever going to be Vodafone.

Best bet is to have a look on vodafone.ie for the cheapest phones, failing that check out the shops. Price will depend on whether you are bill or pre-pay.

The lads looking for a cheap phone, not a boards navigation tutorial. C'mon ciaran, throw the lada bone here.

Anyway, to answer your question dellas, Pighead finds this model to be cheap and quite reliable.

    39 quid
About as good as it's gonna get...or you could try buying an unlocked handset second hand on adverts.ie

Thats just brilliant, Kenny 5 Braincells. Not only are you implying you've slept with my mother, you are also insinuating that she was cheap and reliable too.

So basically with one sentence you've managed to:
    1/ hurt Pigheads feelings
    2/ disrespect my mother
and 3/ Ignore the OP's question and blatantly refuse to help him out. Now Pigheads no anthropologist but in my eyes that makes you a grade A fcuking cunt.
