Hunting knife / bayonet

    I know a chap looking for a hunting knife / modern bayonet to give as a gift. Can someone recommend somewhere in Dublin to get one? Basic, not too scary.

    Err, doesn't that shop beside Trinity (across the road from the bank) do knives? I seem to recall seeing them (and a lot of cigars and pipes) every time I walk past it on my way up towards Grafton street. Not sure what their selection is like, but everything in Dublin city center is within walking distance so it might be worth a look if you hear of other shops around.

    yesteryear in parnell square often sell the real deal when it comes to bayonets, mostly vintage ones thos. think i saw an AK47 one in there. Doubt that would make much of a pressie ...
