I have a Netgear router connected to my modem. After a couple of months of working perfectly, today my laptop suddenly could not connect to the wireless network. Im really not sure what the problem is. I went in to the router admin on the host computer (LAN connected) and changed the WPA password to see if that would make any difference. The password is 13 figures long. When i go into the Wireless network properties on the laptop where the option is to enter the network key, the password is only 8 figures long. I entered the new one and hit ok etc going back out and then back in and it had reverted back to 8 figures long. This is confusing me to be honest, and im not even sure if this was the cause for the sudden drop. The connection is back but is now dropping quite frequently.I would love some advise on this matter.
My laptop can detect other networks too. Is it possible that these are conflicting with my laptops ability to connect to my own network?
    Any help much appreciated.
