    thanks for the replies lads, ive got ccleaner but it was something to help with start up i was looking for, it takes up to 5 mins before i can use my pc :mad:

    not disable some start up entries?lots of people have like 10+ programs start when they log on, understandable why things might be slow for them.

    never even heard of registry booter, and system tweak programs ive never found to be particularly good.wats ur ram like?

    Good timing...http://www.giveawayoftheday.com are giving away a Registry cleaner as their software today - I tried it and it seems pretty good.
