Licensing Hours?

I can't seem to find hard information about licensing hours for pubs/clubs/hotels in Ireland on the net.

Does anyone know what time is the usual closing time for a private function in a hotel...is there a legal closing time?

Your normal closing hours are as per pub hours, unless they've a niteclub licence or special late bar licence. Your local Gardai office will tell you everything you need to know :)

AFAIK If it doesn't have a nightclub licence, closing hours are same as a pub. If it has a nightclub licence then usual nightclub rules apply, if you're staying in the hotel then resident rules apply

For my Christmas Party [in a terrible hotel]
our room was booked from 8pm til 3am, then the residents bar was open til 4.30
