Flickering screen on wii

    Anybody else experiencing this problem, im useing a 32 in hd tv, when i turn on the wii, the background flickers, i have to change the output setting in the wii menu, but i have to do this every time i turn it on.

    Is this a common problem

    Yeah you had it on component and 'downgraded' to composite so you could play VC games. Put back in your component, change the setting, then go back to composite. That should stop the flickering.

    tryed that, at the minute it is going into a scart socket, tv setting are set to 50 fps 480p

    Still flickering though

    Still havin this problem, any body else having the same problem
    seems the wii might be over heating
