I know how to use a computer but know nothing of the make up of one
Im looking to a but a laptop but when i start reading about processors and graphics cards and all the other terms i get confused
So what im hoping is if i tell ye what i want the computer for maybe someone can come up with the right system for me/

    Basically what i need is
    Something to store photos,music etc
I wanna be able burn cd's,dvd's and also put my camcorders recordings on it so i can edit them etc
I won't be using it for gaming as i'll be buying PS3 when it comes out,but in case i change my mine in the future is it possible to upgrade so i can play games on it
I want it for all the usual internet stuff i have NTL Broadband at the moment but what i'd really love is the laptop and broadband that i can use the laptop anywhere in house without the wires,so advice on a broadband supplier and what technology i need for this would be also appreicated i live in Lucan Dublin by the way if that helps with a broadband supplier
Also i'll be doing my accounts on it as im a electrical contractor and i'd also need it for making flyers etc
Im totally in the dark about what i need and i don't want PC World or wherever i buy it ripping me off
Im not bothered about the brand name of the computer either so Dell or whatever suits is fine with me
    Any help would be appreciated
Sorry if this was asked before
