    Hi guys,

I have one of these at home and was wondering what i can do with it.

As far as i know the engine has ceased (even though it was rebuilt from new by a place in galway who charged me the earth for the job) as when i drove it last it started giving off a scraping sound until it wouldn't tick over anymore. so must be ceased engine, right?

so what can i do with it? would a shop take it off me for parts that might be salvagable? the tyres are brand new...

it's one of these in different colours

    any advice would be great.

ps if a shop won't take it, where can i put it then? is there a motorbike "dump" some where?

    Hi kraggy,

If the rest of the bike is in good nick, I would be interested in it. Whereabouts are you?

Might have been a bit expensive , but they did have nikasil/chrome/whatever plated cylinder that could have been damaged . It is possible to get them replated but maybe they just replaced it.
A new cylinder & piston would have added a fair bit to the cost.

Wouldn't have minded as much if they didn't treat us customers like we owe our lives to them for entertaining us and accepting our business.

Has always been like that in all bike shops in Galway.

Is it as bad in other parts of the country?

any suggestions on where i can get rid of the bike? just want to get it out of the garage...

Buy & Sell? There is a Freebie section; you could also put it for sale for a low price - you might easily get a couple of hundred for it

Or - even - adverts.ie in the Free Stuff section!
