I love my Gameboy Micro

I bought a Gameboy Advance in the US on launch day in 2001, got a few games together but never really went back to it. When I got my DS I played the odd game but not much.

Bought a Gameboy Micro for €50 from Virgin a few weeks ago on the idea that I would play it for a bit and then use it and 4 Gameboy to trade in to GameStop and get 200 euro of an Xbox 360

I've not been able to put the thing down. I take it everywhere with me, on the bus, at lunch, everywhere.

There is just something about the size, it is in my opinion the first truly portable game console. You don't need to have a bag to carry it around with, it fits in your pocket. Its like a mobile phone, which only took off when they got small enough that people didn't need an extra bag to carry them in.

So basically I'm in love with my Micro and recommend anyone who has a few Gameboy Advance games lying around gathering dust to pick one up.

    That is all

You would think that but in practice it is grand.

Have to agree with Wick. It's a great little machine and the screen is perfectly fine to use, provided you have decent eyesight to begin with ;) Get a flash cart for it and you can carry ten games around with you in that tiny box.

I'd play mine more but the ds is monopolising my time in handheld land these days.

€50? Was it on special offer or something? I'd love a Game Boy Micro, but with a DS lite, I have a hard time justifying spending too much on one.

Has anyone any recommendations for excellent GBA games that may have been overlooked? I love the following:

    Metal Slug Advance
    Kuru Kuru Kururin
    Rhythm Tengoku
Wario Ware (and Wario Ware Twisted)
    Dotsream
    Orbital
    Qwak
    Guru Logic Champ
    Ninja Cop

I get by with just advance wars, warioware, FF: Tactics Advance, Mario and Luigi RPG and super mario world / yoshi's island.

DS Lite is a great machine alright you can carry it somewhere if you know you'll be sitting around with nothing to do and it's worth it to bring it, but the micro you can carry anywhere.
