Liquids ban

Flying for the first time since the liquids ban on airplanes on Thursday to Germany. Just wondering does anyone have a link for a list of permitted items etc?

I'd like to bring some contact lense solution on the plane with me in case my eyes get sore or i want to take them out to sleep but i only have a large bottle with about 1/4 left in it.

Also what is the story with bringing home alcohol in my checked in baggage? It will be grand to pack a few litres of alcohol as long as i'm not carrying it on? Thankyou!

You'll need to put the contact lense solution in a bottle of less than 100ml iric. Some pharmacies were selling these a few months ago, I'm sure they still are...

Shouldn't be any problem putting alcohol into your case, like you said only problem is when carrying it on board.

Could you not fill your contacts container with clean solution just before the flight? Pop them in when you want to.

yeah i was going to do that, its just i'd be worried it would spill or something.
i also want to bring a spare pair with me for my trip (i wear monthlies), im going to take this in my hand luggage, there is only a small amount of liquid in each case. its just if they got squished or something, they're fooked!
    thanks for the help.

Just make sure you put it in a container of 100ml or less, a 200ml bottle that is quarter full won't do.
