    I know this probable isn't a personal issue...i am not sure where to post it...i have just come back from a holiday in California driving down the coast to San Diego....the thing is i would love to live in California for a year preferably in San diego...dose anyone know how i could get a working visa i am involved in community support work for adult that have mental health problems and i have a degree in social science...thanks in advance

    The easiest way to do what you want is to apply for a H1B or H2B visa. You'll need a company in the US to apply on your behalf, as well as making you an offer for a job.

    You could take a look at this company, http://www.h2bworkusa.org. They try to match companies with people looking for a work visa. I don't know anymore about them yet, I'm just looking :)
