windows vista & limewire pro

    Hello, this is my first post here coz i did'nt no were else to go....i just got a Dell inspiron 1501 and cant get limewire pro 4.12.3 to work. evrytime i start it up it ays (starting connection) and stays like that for nearly 5 minutes then says disconnected. i dnt hve the best broadband on the planet but it did work when i was running it on my old dell computer which had XP as its OS. does anyone have any info on this issue tht could help me to get it working...thanks very much...

    Try right clicking on the shortcut and select "Run as Administrator"??

    If that doesn't work get bearshare or bitcomet much better tbh.. I tried limewire hated it with a passion :p

    I wouldn't go near bearshare it's a terrible program full of spyware and crap...i know limewire is too even the pro version but i don;t find it as bad as bearshare...don't let that smiley faced bear fool you..he's evil i tell you
