I'm electric

in the past half hour I have been electrically shocked by the kitchen sink, the fire poker, the fireplace, the mp3 player, the dvd player, the front door, my cigarette lighter (wtf!) and i'm sure I'm forgetting a few things as well

what the hell is going on? I never used to get shocked this much.. I used to never get shocked at all, but in the past year or two I've started getting shocked a little bit.. now it appears in the last week that I'm getting shocked every day.
Whenever I pick up the mp3 player I get a nasty one, if I touch the tv it's only a small one... it'#s really starting to piss me off. I start randomly touching my hands off anything in proximity before I touch anything remotely electrical

does anyone know what in the **** causes this? or why it would suddenly flare up over the past week?

Would you believe that the same thing is happening to me ! I am wearing runners with rubber soles, and I always get static shocks when I wear them.

Bearing in mind I actually don't know what I'm talking about, would yo be walking around he house in socks? Maybe the friction between your socks and the carpet is creating a static build up.

no, I wondered about that myself so i walked artound in different shoes for different days... no help whatsoever

it could be my clothes and the couch I guess, I don't think I had this problem with the leather couches...

Maybe you are a fan of leisure wear? My advice: Avoid jumpsuits. Too much polyester = static build up!

Aye, its just static shocks. You can build up a charge depending on what youre wearing (shoes, cloths), and doing (walking, shifting around on a couch etc).

Other factors include body size (lardos get bigger shocks), humidity, temperature etc.

Make the most of it, and shock everybody around you, especially the elderly and little children..:D

the best thing to do is put your foot in a bucket of water and put 2 screwdrivers in a socket. It will discharge you completely. **

** not necessarily the best thing to do

    LOLz :)

I used to go through periods of that too, but for some reason it'd happen when my allergies were up. Maybe its summit to do with more dust in the air, I dunno.

    /goes off to test theory

It's because you got your hair cut. Isn't it obvious?

You see, your hair are your ariels. They pick up signals from the cosmos and transmit them directly into the brain. They also transmit energy, but seeing as you've removed your ariels, this energy has nowhere to go, and gets built up in your system untill it can be grounded and discharged.

That would explain why when I got some fillings in my teeth, I was able to pick up 2fm.

Two aerials got married. The wedding was bad, but they had a great reception.
