    Opening it up reveals a rather smaller PSU board than expected, plus a bundle of metal strips whose sole purpose is to add weight. Withou these the unit feels very light and 'cheap'...

    Thanks for the heads up. Was about to buy a Dell battery on ebay. I know its not the same thing, but I was wary of doing it anyway, and this thread has put me off it completely
