well you've seen the threads here about it and my a\c was closed for no reason. Their customer service seems dreadful of late?
    or is it just me?

Yeah still confident, my withdrawals are going through fine and that's what matters!

Live chat is always the best option I've found with neteller. They've always sorted out any problems I had, including when my a\c was closed for "loggin in form america".

Its working fine for me now but I agree with this point. Their customer service has been amongst the worst I have EVER dealt with. Impossible to reach. I never get repies to e mails, and phone is nearly as bad.

I'm a huge fan of Moneybookers...

I don't know a lot about them, but never had a problem with them, and I've put thousands in and out of them.

I did email them once however about a trivial matter and they didn't reply.

I also use Neteller and havent had too many problems - they once closed my account and it was a nightmare getting in touch with their UK office.

Apart from these two, I've not got any more experience, although i have had sex many times.

I'd imagine it'd be fine, but way leaving it on a site would be better i think.

Anyone know what happened to the Neteller guys arrested in the US?

I requested a cheque withdrawal 4 days ago, I rang to cancel it the same day. Since then I've been on to them 3 times to ask if the check is being sent or if its been canceled and they say they don't know and that the withdrawal 'probably' just haven't seen the order yet. Slow!!

I don't think I'd leave a large amount of money sitting in Neteller, but I still am pretty sure it's fine for non-US players.
My last few withdrawals from GJP to Neteller to BOI have gone through perfectly in 3-ish days, haven't tried depositing tho.

Was reading in the FT that online poker numbers are way up in European markets, so new players are going to need Neteller type services anyway.

Neteller seemed to wipe my Bank A/C details, and I have to set them up again which ivolves the deposit of in or aorund $1 etc.... Anyone else have this problem?

I'll use them to transfer money if I need to but there's no way i'm leaving any money lying there. Before all this **** i'd of had 1-2k lying there most of the time.

It happened to me as well, still the awaiting a deposit of the $1. I think it is due to the EU changing banking rules for 2007 and requiring the need for an Swift and iban number now.

it took me over 6 weeks to get an account set up and validated at each end.
Customer service was apalling until i got an exchange going with one guy after a phone call with him who actually got things done.
Since I got it validated I was able to do two withdrawals to my Irish bank account both arrived after just two working days.

I had a lot of hassle with them closing the account, no information is given except an email address for the security department and the usual phone number that might answer after 30 minutes if you are lucky.
The reason they close the accounts is that they will by default close your account if you log on from a suspicious IP Address (Suspicious would appear to mean any other IP address than you signed up on !!!)
As I spend a large part of my time travelling to countries that are, well. fairly dodgy they kept closing my account every time I logged on from a different site. The useful guy I got in Neteller was able to get the security department to disable that feature for my account.
BTW the guys name was Phill but he was clever enough to only ever use a generic mail address.
