    hi

    i am going to spain in may for a wedding and was booking hotel accomodation in the web, i used hotel.com.au and paid them a reservation fee for a hotel booking. the price was a great deal less that booking direct with the hotel, also allStays.com had the same deal. About thirty rooms were booked with allstays and maybe 15 with hotel.com.au.

    the bride to be was back in spain last week and double checked the reservations with the hotel but they have no record of them. we have been on to the two websites and they haven't been ablt to resolve the issue, the hotel is adamant that they are not honouring the reservations.

    i was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience???? we can't work out if the problem lies with the websites or the hotel....?

    if the bride to be hadn't been going back home and doulbe checked there would have been a lot of people stranded for a week, not an ideal situation.
