    Hi all,
Do any of you know where I can get cool clothes in Dublin, like indie/rock/retro stuff (excuse my description). I am sick of settling for Jack&Jones stuff..

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Eager Beaver in Temple bar should suffice:)

Not into a lot of the rock / indie / retro stuff they do in there myself, but Urban Outfitters (Temple Bar) sounds like what you are looking for.

Had a look in Eager Beavers and its kinda what I'm looking for but I find it so hard to find stuff that fits in there.. Its not very organised, for me anyway. Also had a look in Urban Outfitters but it was pretty lame to be honest. I know I sound whingy but is this all Dublin has to offer?

Retro in the George's Street Arcade is the place.

Try Sabotoge--there's a girls shop on the corner--bright pink...and then down the street just a bit is the men's shop by the same name. It's across from Fallon & Byrne and close to Buffalo shoes.

    Good luck.

If you use your imagination and be creative about it you can achieve this type of look by buying clothes from more "mainstream" shops. I actually got a pair of class flared cords in Jack&Jones once and you can get the kinda "skater" look by wearing layers of ordinary plain long and short sleaved tshirts. It's also easy to get those "grunge" type patterned shirts which you can wear over tshirts. Nice baggy jeans that aren't overpriced are kinda hard to find these days.

Band tshirts are easy to get too.

Tell me about it, haven't seen "nice" baggy jeans in Dublin in yonks. They are either too baggy, too tacky or too pricey. I got 3 great pairs in Unique ages ago and they are the best I've ever had and only cost €40 at the time.
