he's 18/11/2 have hands on him at .25/.50 to 1/2

    SB ($156.43)
    BB ($41.61)

Shane is UTG with 7c, 7h
    Preflop: (5 players, $1.5)
Shane calls $1 and raises $3, CO folds, Button calls $4, SB calls $3.50, BB folds

    Flop: 2c, Ah, 7s (3 players, $13)
SB checks, Shane bets $7, Button calls $7, SB folds

    Turn: Ad (2 players, $27)
Shane bets $16, Button calls $16

    River: 5c (2 players, $59)
Shane bets $55, Button calls $55 and raises $128 and is All-In

Call it would just be very unlucky if he had a7 or AA, especially considering he didnt reraise preflop.

    should be 10
    Turn: Ad (2 players, $27)
    Shane bets $16,

    20+
    River: 5c (2 players, $59)

A5 is more likely than A7,
Bet sizing was ok i thought, half pot on flop & turn, pot on river.
Your getting over 2/1. Call and smile at his AK

firstly shane do me a favour and explain 18/11/2 to me - i don't used tracking yokes, but an explanation would be nice ty.

considering that i don't know what it means, i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he has fk all - he just doesn't think you've got an A.... (I would be known to do this donkey-play now and again - it wasn't me by any chance??)

plays 18% of his hands, raises 11% of his hands. 2 is his aggression factor, 2 is fairly aggressive.

In short he's a decent tag.

    Definately agree with this.

There's enough hands that push river for value that you beat to justify a call, especially getting more than 2-1.

    ak/22?

Im not saying its the right play but at 1/2 ive seen players push ths river with a far wider range than AK/22.Plus most players will raise A7 on the flop. Are you putting him precisely on A5?

Okay you have a point though.

I can't really see him shoving this river without a hand that beats me tbh.

I think A5/22 are definately most likely hands for villian. He probably raises A7 on the flop and doesnt push AK/AQ,etc on the river. But i cant ever see myself laying down here, especially considering the pot odds.

anyway, his raise was pretty sick, and I was pretty sure I was beat, came very close to folding but I called partly cause I'm a station and partly out of curiosity.

    He had a5s, nh sir.

this is such an easy call. he has 5 hands we're behind and a million we're ahead of.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,296 ✭✭✭valor

yeah you are way overthinking this hand and coming very close to folding is a huge leak

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,186 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

Surely he does this with any decent Ace

    1/2 fitz

I make a loose limp with kjs behind a couple of others in mp.

    Flop (15)
    kkj

Checked to me, I bet 12 or something. sb calls.

    Turn
    q

sb checks, I bet, he pots to 80, I have a sick feeling I'm after being cold decked, think about it, then call.

    River
    blank.

He shoves, I mumble something about this being a sick hand, make a crying call, meekly turning over my cards.

    He shows k3.

    :o
