I find speedtest.net is the best.

i would say it's not the most accurate speed test... i like speedtest.net, but i think www.irishisptest.com is better...

You need a speed test close to you, unless you want to test speed to another country rather than your own link. A test hosted by your own ISP is always the most accurate for your own connection. Anyone elses will always give a lower than actual possible reading.
