the damn wind knocked over my GN 125 yesterday. there wasn't much damage except that most of the front brake lever snapped off.

will it be easy to find a new lever? where should i look?
should i take it to a bike shop or could i do it myself?

also, there was a smell of petrol from the bike, it was coming from a black rubber tube coming out under the bike! is it some kind of overflow or something? i never noticed it before.

anybody know where i could do some kinda course or something on fixing bikes etc.. as i would like to be able to do stuff myself on the bike? i don't really have a clue about the engine and stuff to be honest.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Fixing the lever is easy. Most shops have replacements for around €20-25 depending. Just undo the nuts and disconnect cable if its the clutch. Reverse the procedure to put the new one on. The petrol will be from the overflow and is nothing to worry about, just don't expose to naked flames.

I know a few lads downing one out by the redcow. They seem to find it good. I was to late and missed the first class, so I wasn't able to sign up. But I beleave there will be an other set starting in September. They paid about €110 for the course... but have already saved that in what they have done them-self's on the bikes.
