I dont think I have seen any mention of this, stand corrected if there is, however, was wondering what ppl's opinions are on who will achieve the above title this year.

Was looking at Richard Johnson as he has a couple of fancied runners on tuesday but unsure as regards his other rides.

But if anyone has done the research and is willing to share, a jockey who has a good book of rides that would be great. Obviously Ruby will, but is there any value bets to be had.

You could do worse than have a euro on Conor O'Dwyer at 50/1 (this is paddy power price, might get better elsewhere). He probably won't have as many rides as Ruby or AP but the ones he will be riding all have good chances.

Paul Carberry 16/1 - cracking chance with Aran Concerto and will be on a lot of Irish Handicap blots as always.

Timmy Murphy 9/1 - Penalty kick with Well Chief plus a few interesting ones like Osana, Buena Vista and Our Vic. Needless to say Pipe surely has a few nicely handicapped animals ready as well.

Also at a massive price (33/1) i think Paddy Brennan could be a surprise possibility with a few cracking rides like Lennon, Inglis Drever and Degas Art already confirmed.

Agree on this one - I backed Graham Lee the year he won for the same stable (he was 20/1) and Brennan has similar quality rides

A fairytale ending for Mick Fitzgearlds cheltenham carear being top jockey at odds of around 16/1 in places. He has some good rides including Ameretto Rose Juvenigeur Oedipe Carraciola Duc de Regeierne Tysou Sir Jimmy Shand to name a few.He is worth a bet.

Although Mick Fitzgerald wouldn't be my favourite jockey (by a long way) you have to give that lad some credit. I believe Dave Duggan even holds him in high regard. He's won 9 different races at the cheltenham festival in his time, some of them more than once and he has a grand national under his belt ( thats one more than tony).

What do you have to suggest that he's the worst.

Seemingly every idiot has an opinion, proof has been shown by one poster on this thread, Well here is mine.

The best value bet left in the Ante post market is the 7/4 available at Victor Chandler for the group of Ruby Walsh, Mick Fitzgerald, P Carberry and R Davison being top jockey Should be about evens at best in my book.

I know he's not flavour of the month around here but anybody think Barry Geraghty has a good chance?.As well as his already booked rides he's going to get some good spares.I've even seen his name linked with Exotic Dancer.

Barry Geraghty has to have a serious chance. 20/1 VC.

Catch me in the Ballymore, Lounaos in the Triumph, Cork All star in the Bumper
Clopf in the Supreme, Macs Joy in the Champion Hurdle, Kings Advocate in the Jewson, Forget the past. Will ride in at least 14 races and could pick up a few spares and rides for English trainers.

If that 7/4 about Ruby, Mick and Paul is still available that's a mighty stand out bet.

I am not the biggest fan of Barry geraghty but with paul carbarry very doubtfull barry will pick up some of his rides aswell so 16/1 might be a bit of value
