So I bought a 660ml bottle of this earlier today. It's Indian and supposedly very nice. I've not drank it yet, but before I do I've two queries:

    1. Has anyone had it? How does it rate? etc etc.

    2. Am I absolutely mad to drink a bottle of beer with a best before date of June '05?

I've only seen it once and I'm yet to try it... let us know how you get on if you're not dead. I'd definitly not touch a beer that's two years out of date. Most beers have a pretty long shelf life anyway, so that bottle has probably been in circulation since 2002 or 2003.

1)I like it a lot - get it in decent indian restaurants, esp in the UK. Don't remember seeing it often over here...

2)Why don't you try it and see? If it's still fizzy should be ok. give it a little taste - whats the worst that can happen?

    1. Its nice alright, the kind of beer you'll throw back all night.

    2. No it won't do a thing on ya, I've done it a few times before and there wasn't a bit of difference in terms of taste or after affects.
