Worth doing on a car with a big tank
Most people commuting on a bike would fill their tank 1-2 times a week anyway so it doesn't really make much odds
Where did you hear about this increase? I don't think oil prices have gone up, and the euro is still very high against the dollar.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

I presume most of you have cars too :D I work for an oil company - have a look at prices today would say most places will be up 4 cents or so

What's the justification for a rise? Profiteering? I really doubt that anything like the full benefit of the strong euro has been passed on.

No change in my local stations this morning, at least.

Aye, I didn't notice any change my-self, still €1.01 in my local just off the n81 m50 roundabout.

It did go up more in less competitive stations. Reasons for hike cold winter in states and Iran probs. Just watch the price of the barrell of oil and then prices rise/fall accordingly. Gargages make alot less money now with high prices then they did a few years ago when prices were lower.
They make only a 1/2c per litre have you noticed how many small garages have closed- they make their money in the shops. If you put €50 into your car and paid for it by Credit card the garage has made no money from that transaction :(
