I posted this on the wrong board earlier on only to find I could
not see any way for me to delete/withdraw the thread.
Could of sworn I could do this before........

Can anyone point me to a handy online store where I can buy some
High mounts for a CZ452. My scope has a 30mm Tube and a 56mm objective.
Ideally an Irish/UK store with an online shopping card
(Rather than those places where you have to phone them)

Some of the sites I have visited so far are a bit sketchy with the details of
what the mounts are suited for what set up.

I am not fussy on how expensive they are as it would only be a once off buy
I would love something that you could adjust or do some fine tuning after
the scope is mounted so after bore sighting they could be tweaked a little before
resorting to adjusting with the reticle turrets.

When surfing about the place most of the stuff I see is for 1inch tubes. when
I see high mounts for 30mm tube size a lot of the time it tells me
they are 3/4 inch or 1 inch high but it does not tell me if thats enough clearence for a scope with a 56mm objective lens.

I am still tring to figure out why these things are so expensive!!!!
I am seeing prices over 80-100 Euros!

my Local store did not have any. Was in Scotland last week and the store
I visited did not have any either. One or two other places
only had medium mounts. Ideally I wanted to have the rings/mounts before
I (evenutally get to) collect the rifle. As It will mean a 2hr car journey
to collect it I was hoping to mount and Zero the rifle during the same trip/day.
(I only manage to get to the range at the most twice a month! so
each time is precious to me)

    http://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/search.asp?nobox=&scat=&stext=30+mm+mounts&stype=&sprice=&pg=2

I bought my mounts from Optics Warehouse. They do 30 mm mounts in medium & high.

They are quite helpful and if you tell them the gun & scope details they will tell you if the mounts selected are suitable.

Have a look at www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=7791&title=NIGHTFORCE+30MM+TACTICAL+RINGS . They're a little bit pricey but with the dollar being a bit weak at the moment, it could be the right time to buy. Brownells are fast at delivery too.
