There's lots coming up, but nothing much right this minute (well, Starfox Command came out recently I guess).
I'm looking forward to Zelda, Hotel Dusk, and Phoenix Wright 2.

Don't mind the naysayers. Pokemon is one of the best RPGs of recent years and also one of the most complex and involving.

I'd really have to recommend Elite Beat Agents which should be out in March. Don't let the rythm action genre put you off, it's one of the best games I've ever played.

    These:
    Hotel Dusk
    Phoenix Wright 2
    Elite Beat Agents

...can all be purchased now (DS is region free) and would be cheaper aswell than waiting for them to appear in stores here. I can vouch for EBA and PW2 being great, I have Hotel Dusk but haven't gotten around to playing it yet (just about to finish final level of EBA on "Divas" difficulty and then I'll start on it properly).

Here's something to keep you busy, if you have a flash cart or something similar: ye olde text adventures.

The new Pokémon games should be out in the States in April, if you fancy getting them sooner, cheaper. Also out now over there but not here:
    Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
    Elite Beat Agents
    Phoenix Wright 2
Kirby Squeak Squad (Short, easy, but fun traditional Kirby-'em-up.)
    Bomberman Land Touch! (Online Bomberman)
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (Silly pseudo-RPG)

And if you don't mind a bit of Japanese:
Jump Ultimate Stars (Manga Smash Bros-alike)
    Daigasso! Band Brothers (Musical, hard)
Ouendan (Really, really, really great game)
    Bleach DS (Animé beat-'em-up)
Puzzle Series 4: Kakuro (Like a cross between Sudoku and a crossword)
Puzzle Series 5: Slither Link (Simple, brilliant logic puzzle)
Puzzle Series 6: Illust Logic (Picross by another name, which is a fantastic logic puzzle with cool secret pictures)

Also, coming out soon there's SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters Thing, which is based on a fantastic NeoGeo Pocket game and a Japanese sequel to Ouendan.

Pro Evo 6, bit jumpy, but very playable

It all depends what type of games you're into.

New Zealand Story - nostalgia ftw !
