    Great
How is it I am the last person to see this episode? I can't find it anywhere ................................. :( P.oor M.e

eh scratch my last i found it :p

EDIT: good episode. Liked the way it stuck with the one situation: a complete break from the norm; we havent heard from anyone else this week.

I hate to admit it though; I want to know what happened with the Nikki/DL thread..and we havent seen Nathan in a while...AND WHEN WILL HIRO MAKE IT TO VEGAS???

    Ps. The Techno-girls AKA. "Wireless"

    Great
I'm so glad loads of other people thought "wireless" was in the house at the end of ep 16. I was so sure she was, but when I checked back the episode had been deleted.

I thought the effects on Claire's skin were really impressive.

I didn't like the whole radiation thing, it really didn't make any sense, especially with Parkman touching him twice and looking alright for it. Pretty sure if it was bad enough to set everything on fire then it should have started melting everyones faces, not only super Claire's.
If you look at an earlier episode where all the grass around the guy dies and he's just standing there, you'd imagine him freaking out would be awesome. Quite disappointed we didn't see a mushroom cloud. :p

Has anyone confirmed if Wireless was indeed the same girl as the one at the very end? If it is then it suggests either the company suspect Bennet or else they have themselves a mole.

Still no answer as to who or what can dampen a character's powers then... whatever it is would have been used to stop radiation boy.

About the bridge where Bennet got shot... I reckon that's Bennet's place for whacking people off, so they probably wanted to make it look like he was bringing the Haitin there to kill him or something.

If you ^ had read the graphic novels yet; you would know
    She works for them.

Its perfectly OK to read the graphic novels: they are meant to be deleted scenes if nothing else.

i really enjoyed this epsode.....and each week im loving heroes more and more! its very cleverly writtena dn thought out...the acting is supurb and the storylines are actually quite believable!

i looked back on episode 16 and the 'wireless' chick was NOT in the hallway of the Bennett house when they broke in so.....that answers that!

i DO think however that its the same girl that we see standing over Matt when he is tied down in ep 17....they look the same, but im sure that will be confirmed soon enough! maybe she was trying to draw him out of hiding so they could capture him?!?

Brilliant episode and great to see that they can break away from the usual mould of following different characters around.

The house being fried by the nuclear radiation was extremely well executed and the camera work throughout was movie level quality.

Interesting point about Bennett maybe being the new Big Bad - would be a nice twist....

Anyone else geeky enough to laugh at how the Doctor's arch nemesis was Claude's boss in this (guest star Eric Roberts played "The Master" in the woeful 1996 TV movie and was the boss of Claude aka Christopher Eccelstion aka the Doctor in this one)? No? Just me then?

    Okay
    Another great episode.

And I too was sure that cyber lady was in the house at the end of last weeks. Strange.

Also, isn't the Haitian supposed to suppress peoples abilities? Why not just send him in to calm nuclear man?

Yeah... It looks like someone else that we haven't seen must be behind that ability. As when the Haitian was introduced to Bennett no mention was made of any power other than his memory stealing abilities.

Have powers ever been blocked anywhere other than the paper factory?

Weren't Sylar's powers blocked when they captured him, or did Voice-lady say something before he had a chance to kick ass?

Are the graphic novels widely available?

    Okay
Surely that can't be Hana at the end of this episode, she used to work for bennett right? so why would he trust her after such an absense?

Interesting that a number of people thought they seen 'Wireless' at the end of EP16 in the house. Me too! What's going on, have our minds been altered :)

Count me, by the way, as someone who thought 'Wireless' was there at the end of Ep16.

    Okay
I think people are assuming she was in the house because she was there when matt, duke nukem and wireless where introduced, she was there when they where getting ready to go to mr. bennets house also, so it would only be obvious that she would join them going to Mr. Bennets house as she was the one who instigated them to want to go in the first place.

I dunno, maybe next we'll see that they split up, 2 of them going to his house and wireless going to the paper factory

I wonder will it turn out that Linderman is related to all the Heroes in some way and is the 'Daddy' so to speak who has the master gene that started all this?

    Okay
Great episode really gave alot of insight into Bennets past and while answering alot of questions , it brought up a whole new set.
What will happen to Parkman and the radiation guy in captivity?
Will Bennet go into full on bad guy mode now that his memory has been wiped?
How far involved is Hiros father?
And does he know about Hiro?

    Great
Best piece of televeision since Battlestar Gallactica's Exodus two part at the start of season 3. That was by far the best episode of Heroes yet.
It's all been said here already but I loved how they showed Bennets back story and it really lined it up well for his farewell with Claire. Dying to know what happens with him (and Claire & Haitian dude) next. The hostage situation was dealt with very well and I love how the writters used the characters powers. Matt getting instructions from Bennet via mind reading, shooting Claire to diffuse the situation (no pun intended), Haitian wiping Bennets mind, Bennet thinking in Japanese so Matt can't understand.
The effects were blockbuster movie standard aswell. The radiation effects and Claire healing herself were very well done.
I think what made this episode stand out over the rest (aside from what I just said) was the focus they put on one set of characters. None of this jumping around to 3/4 different stories. While I'v enjoyed that style in previous episodes, this episode worked a lot better for me. Also, liking the lack of the opening/closing monologues from Mohinder. Never liked them.

Agree with you 100% - I have thoroughly enjoyed heroes up to now, but just as you were enjoying a scene with one set of characters, it would jump - I often thought what a challenge it must be for the editors/writers - this episode was by far the best for me....

I've made a poll about thinking Hana was in the house.

Lets get to the bottom of this strange phenomenon.

Oh and yes... Mohinder's voice is lovely.

    Okay
I enjoyed this episode but I did prefer 16. One thing I thought was pretty cool was that in the back story the young haitian and hiro really did look like they were them when they were younger. I thought the explosion thing went on for a bit too long though, it eventually seemed to not be getting any worse, just the same over and over.
Also, that did seem like the same rooftop in the backstory as where the pigeons were looked after.

It is. It's the top of Simone's father's building. I wonder is he involved in this company too then, and to that effect has Simone got anything to do with it? Not that anyone actually cares about her or anything but that building does tie her into the story. I wonder was Simone the person that Claude was protecting?

Brilliant episode all in all. Sulu is involved in the company, Bennett's story explained as well as the Haitian. Parkman might end up working with Bennett now and Bennett may forget everything about Claire.

I think re-watching all the episodes so far in the upcoming break would not be a bad idea. There's bound to be plenty there that you'll only notice the 2nd time round.

Best episode so far for me! Hopefully they can keep the momentum going next week, really liked the flashbacks and agree that them being in black and white is excellent.

Good point raised earlier about the nullification, MonkeyFudge: but the Haitian nullified Parkman's power in the bar before he fell unconcious, and he was there again (and focused on) when Parkman tried to read Bennets mind at the paper factory. He was also present when Sylar was captive (And lucid).

The Haitian probably just let go Claude/Pete/NAthan for his own reasons: PastProtection?/no idea/Candidate. Maybe he didnt want Nathan to be controlled by Bennets organisation; who knows.

I think the nullification is still far too speculative at this stage
