Just a heads up incase anyone missed it. From rte.ie/business
Aer Lingus has advised customers that due to the threat of strike action, disruption to travel on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week must now be considered a possibility.

It said they are putting in place measures to ensure that disruption to passengers is minimised.

SIPTU and Aer Lingus management are to attend talks at the Labour Court tomorrow in an effort to resolve the current dispute over cost cutting measures.

Strike notice served on the company expires on Thursday when management plans to introduce new terms and conditions for existing staff.

The union says it will take action if management presses ahead with its cost cutting measures which it claims are in breach of current agreements.

Aer Lingus said today customers booked to travel on 28th February, 1st March or 2nd March, who wish to change their bookings, may do so without incurring a change fee.

Aer Lingus said it will announce details of further alternatives for their customers as soon as possible.

Aer Lingus shares closed down 2 cent in Dublin at €2.85 this evening.

Jeebus on the cross... this is getting tiresome!!!

Now we will have to listen to these neanderthals battering on for another few days, when the dogs in the street know that:

A.Current fare structures cannot support the current cost base

B.Current work practices/pay scales cannot exist in a "low cost" model.

C.Some compromise MUSToccur, either changes in the above or job losses.

Take your pick and get on with it....
