Nothing happening with Tribeca switch yet

Just logged into VC and no sign of the switch yet. It's listed to happen today 26th. Any news/ideas?

IIRC they shut down MTT's reg at 10pm 26th/ STT at midnight/ cash a bit later and so on.....

im not sure tony.. But in the email they sent me they said the would leave "a little suprise" in our accounts

points are converted to new Paddy Points using an exchange rate so you have nothing to worry about.

All the $20,000gtd MTT's and the like are gone from Paddy Power. They're now just $27+$1.35 MTT's etc. No gauranteed prize pool. Would this be something to do with the change?

In the Lobby tab on VC Poker, to the left of the people chatting, theres a banner up saying the changeover will happen on Feb 27th.

Checked with support on GJP and they said they have no confirmed date for the changeover, but they took a long time to tell me and i got the impression that they dont know a whole lot about the changeover (Bluesquare that is not GJP support)

Hi newbie, yep the larger guaranteed tournaments, feeders etc are being taken down in preperation for the move over to the new Network. Not long to go now.

No, I don't think that was the reason, VC were (and still are) allowing their customers to play MTTs. It's the lack of a guarantee that seems to have been the cause! Still 10k users online tonight but only 72 in the $27 MTT (the old 15k GTD!)

Paddy Power.com is down until approx. 7am and the cashiers are all down in Paddy Power Poker.

VC is unable to log-in at the moment and is displaying the message regarding an upgrade.

Really? I played about 2k hands there in Novemeber and the games were rock gardens. I've been researching a good bit as well and all the poker forums I've read suggest the games are tight/bad. I'm sure the PPP/VC players should improve the games anyways if they are bad....

I played on Titan after getting $50 free from someone's sig. It turned into $1700 after about 3 weeks of single tabling .50/1. (it then turned into 1k after about 2 days of me doing some supreme donk work).
Only left due to cashout issues and their constant manager pop ups offering me bonuses for depositing.

DR have pulled out of the US market last week. They transferred their players (well the ones that wanted it) to Full Tilt, points and all. There has been no announcement yet as to where they are going. It looks to me like they will go to iPoker without the amis.

Shortstack, im on GJP, what will happen my money while the transfer is being done. Id imagine there will be some downtime i.e the time between GJP shuts down and gets up and running on the new network.

I presume i wont have any access to my bankroll for this time. Will this be a short time period or long period. If its going to be a long downtime it would be great if you could let me know as 90% of my bankroll is tied up in GJP for whatever the downtime may be.

It should be a very fast switch over from GJP-Tribeca to GJP-iPoker. Hours rather then days. We are scheduled for Friday, we'll let those eager beavers discover the flaws in the move software for us

Whats the difference between Tain and iPoker? Are they the cages and the rest the skins?
How come Expekt is listed under iPoker and Tain? Do you know how Playtech fits into it all?
