    Really ??? Teh engineer that came out when I got broadband used some kind off mulitmeter to check the signal strength for the broadband.

    They may have used a very simple type of signal meter that may only read one or two frequencies. Some of these meters can look like a digital multimeter.

    Standard signal meter is much bigger then a multimeter.

    Don't know where you are Christophicus, but as per the other thread analog NTL is crap in West Dublin at the moment. Might give them a call in the morning if I'm in the mood to hang around for 20 mins and not talking to anyone :(

    20 mins?? you'll be lucky.

    Im in waterford and the signall is not actually that bad I dont think. I think its just the TV card I have in my pc may not be great.
