Really ??? Teh engineer that came out when I got broadband used some kind off mulitmeter to check the signal strength for the broadband.

They may have used a very simple type of signal meter that may only read one or two frequencies. Some of these meters can look like a digital multimeter.

Standard signal meter is much bigger then a multimeter.

Don't know where you are Christophicus, but as per the other thread analog NTL is crap in West Dublin at the moment. Might give them a call in the morning if I'm in the mood to hang around for 20 mins and not talking to anyone

20 mins?? you'll be lucky.

Im in waterford and the signall is not actually that bad I dont think. I think its just the TV card I have in my pc may not be great.
