Just wondering if anyone has one of nVidia's DualTV cards and how they find it ? And more importantly does anyone know where to get one ? (I've tried shop.nvidia.com which won't send them here to Ireland, but I have seen mention of PAL ones being available).

The NVIDIA DualTV is not available here unfortunately & as far as I'm aware only supports NTSC in that there are two boards NTSC & PAL but they never made the PAL version allegedly.

This was recommenced to me but I have not tried it out myself basically it gives you a US address from which it will forward the package to Ireland if you want to chance the NV DualTV they sell on their own site.

Also there is a tuner called the VistaView Saber 200 that uses the same chips as the NVIDIA DualTV basically the same picture quality different brand though and they do have PAL support.

However the tuner is PCI-e only just so you know, no idea where to get one either.

The very top of the chain for analogue picture quality which is why I partially assume your after DualTV was the ATI Theatre 550/650 line but again these are no longer available in Europe but you can still find them on Ebay & the like as they did support PAL (single tuners only though no dual version).

    Cheers 8T8,

You guessed right, picture quality was the main concern, with dual tuners being a bonus. PCI-e isn't an option for me at the moment. I read up a bit more and the general view seems to be that the DualTV is both PAL & NTSC compatible and just uses different connectors which adapters are available for so I've taken a chance and grabbed one off ebay. I'll report back when it arrives and it's up and running in case anyone else is interested.
