From what I can see from google, its a core 2 duo base machine with Intel Onboard graphics - totally bog standard, so unless it's seriously cheap I doubt there'll be much to distinguish it from any basic offering from either PC World, Dell or laptopsdirect. I don't think right now, to be honest, it's possible to beat Dells offers - Dual Core machine with 1gb Ram and X1150 for around the 600 euro mark...

I have seen the basic spec, I will reserve all judgment untill I find out how much they want for it. I dont think there will be long delays at the check out though!!!

TBH the most stress any new laptop I get will be under is running autocad occasionally so not too pushed about features. Just find that my Inspiron 5100 is getting sluggish and the battery is fried too

    Sorry it's 699 now, still a very good deal though. X2 TL-50, 1Gb Ram, X1150 Graphics, 120Gb Hard Drive.

    Dell 1501 on their website.

It's also only 460 for Sempron 3500+, 512mb Ram and above specs, another fantastic deal, the Sempron 3500+ is actually a very powerful processor...

Would you bother with the 9cell battery on any of the above machines...?

Does it?? Sorry, could have sworn I saw 120 for that one as well. Okay, never mind - still a good deal regardless! And yes, the Sempron 3500+ is a good processor. Even though it is technically AMDs rival to Intel Celeron and therefore classed as 'budget', it is much faster and has no problem with demanding applications including games....you'd be much quicker limited by the X1150 then you would by the 3500+...

And personally yeah I'd go for the 9 cell as long as it wasn't too much extra...
