So when are we getting an Irish retailer?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of retailers opening up in Ireland. Maybe Paintball guys carrying Airsoft gear too or an army surplus store branching out.

If we do get a store somewhere in the country, I can imagine it being similar price wise to Wolf Armouries. I'll still be getting AEGs and GBBs from China.

Consumables were the one thing I thought would be great if one did open up. But now I can get bbs from Nonex. Hopefully I'll have a propane adapter sometime soon and a good source of propane.

So meh, I cant really see the need.

http://www.vipershop.co.uk/ seem very good and are located in NI, they also have a flat fee of 12.67EUR to ROI

I ordered from them more than a week ago and there's been no change in status. I'll keep ye updated but it seems a bit slow. I can recommend their customer service though, they have answered my questions about postage, products etc. very quickly. I'm reserving final judgement until I know how long it takes.

€62 for the KJ works M9 and cheap postage? Is that the full metal version? Or does it come in ABS too?

Hmmm. If it's full metal I'll definitely be buying one.

I was on the same team as the guy who owns that shop, nice guy and said he can bring products we bought to shoots so we dont have to wait for postaage.

Thats the STG price Oisin. I nearly cra**ed my self when I read your post. And me after paying 120usd for mine from EHobby.

The full metal one I got from EHobby was $85 and I think 40 shipping.

Just looking at their site, they have a pic of a USP and have it listed as a Glock on a few things:confused:. eg a USP Compact listed as a Glock 18. USP Tactical listed as a Glock 23?

Their prices on their AEGs look good though, just looking at the CA models as eHobby don't carry them.:(

But you can use the drop down box at the top to select Euro or Sterling that is probably where we got mixed up.

You can change the viewing currency to euro at the top of the screen.
Look at this link. KJ works m9 for 61.97 EURO. Or, in sterling, £41.59

I was wondering would it be ABS seeing as it's so much cheaper.

very nice gun and still makes a good crack when fired but it realy aint the same as fullmetal, using one of each just seemed wrong i think :p

I've only used the full metal one myself. Wasn't expecting it to have such a good recoil and sound.

I'm actually torn between that and the WE 1911.

Who knows, maybe I'll have both some day.

All I know is, I'm absolutely dying for a pistol. It's the one thing I don't have. Well, that and a shotty :D

Do to the BBC program about replica firearms, we got and e-mail this morning saying that uk Customs is holding are shipment for inspection as we had guns in with the same order. We are hopping that the shipment will be in by early next week but we can not guarantee this. We are Sorry for the delay but it is out of are hands at this point.

Anyone know anything about this? The UK making changes re: airsoft?

Well I'm pretty sure Airsoft has been granted an exemption from the whole VCR bill in the UK.

    That's odd alright.

I didn't order any guns personally from them, I just got goggles and some cheapo camo trousers. So I reckon mine will come in. I'm quite curious as to why a BBC documentary would prevent them from sending legal items out of the country. I can't find references to the current situation anywhere but they only got the email in the morning to we'll have to wait to see what's going on.

    May well come to nothing.

generalmiaow, from that text you posted I got the impression that the guns were held because customs were afraid real guns were being smuggled in with the airsoft. Like someone orders a large delivery of AEGs and puts a real gun in one of the boxes hoping customs won't notice?

That's what I took from it, maybe I'm wrong, but that might explain them having to hold them and have them all inspected.

Well, my own take is that there was a shipment of airsoft equipment coming in.(clothes, goggles etc) His order would have been in that.

Also contained in the shipment were some airsoft guns. The whole lot got pulled by customs so the guns could be inspected.

As they probably should do, I suppose. It just interests me as to how this was influenced by the BBC program (which I didn't see). I always thought the issue with "replicas" was people pretending they were real.

I think so. I asked them to let me know anyway. I don't really mind too much tbh but it is surprising.
