Bet inducing a reraise here is horrible imo for a number of reasons, By rereraising him here it shows far too much strength and a lot of the time at this level tptk is da nuts just bet more aggressively the whole time people will call. No need to make fancy plays like betting small encouraging a reraise.....

seriously tho, yea, i agree with ya there luke, should i just call his re raise or make a decent sized bet on the flop?


however here alot of player dont have the dicipline to lay down to a re raise.

If you take it from his perspective you are even over representing TPTK by rereraising him.

It would be a lot more affective to just bet 2/3rds or even the whole pot, a lot of players at this level wont know pot odds etc so calling a pot bet to a good few of them is just like calling a 2/3rds pot bet. As played I reraise it and take the small pot. At the moment when you bet small and he min raises it you have absolutely no idea where you stand, you are better off doing what you did, but for me I never bet to induce a reraise at this level.
