This just kinda came out of the blue. Powered up my Wii this morning to have another bash at Wario Ware (already completed it but the intense fast forward recap levels are addictive) and I got a message from Nintendo celebrating the release of the Vote Channel.

Well that was unexpected I hadn't seen anything about this till now! Or maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places. I like the fact that it's all Mii driven too but there's feck all content on it at the minute. So has anyone else downloaded this from Wii Shop Channel yet and if so what you guys think?

    What does it do?

Has Nintendo beaten the Irish government to introducing a viable e-voting system?

At the moment i think Nintendo are just playing, testing the water and seeing how far they can 'push the fun'. They are quite aware that they have a disadvantage when it comes to a history of online features and this may be them taking baby steps rather than blowing right ahead and failing miserably. Who knows, they may start asking relevant questions soon.

Anyway, it's free and i get a kick out of it.

I know, no matter what featurs Nintendo seem to be adding to the Wii they always manage to make them fun somehow or another. The fact that answers are represented by your Mii is what makes it.

I've set up one question in the Dublin section anyways... quite a lame one too. I'll check again later to see if the pool was approved or not.

i find it pretty point less but it does look good. Nintendo should bring out a message board that use your Mii.

    That'd be interesting.
