    Linky

Nothing new really, anyone who hasn't been living in la la land for the last few years would know this is happening. However I feel it is under-reporting the issue and painting Eircom is a better light.

The number of lines capable of functional internet access almost reached its target of 94%.
Dear God that means that nearly 10% of lines in this country can't even get internet using dial-up?!
However, Communications watchdog, ComReg, has said it will investigate the idea of setting targets for eircom's USP performance, after some data for the first nine months of 2006 raised some concern.
    Ye sure
