I have recently become employed in a community radio station, at the moment we run our ads off minidisks and we record our shows on to video cassettes for legal purposes.
I was wondering could anyone recommend some computer software to replace the minidisks and the video tapes as the system we have at the moment is a bit arcane.

Unfortunetely the video cassettes are a BCI requirement.

Last time I heard they'll only accept logs on video and an expensive optical format that RTÉ use.

As for the software for promo playback... my radio station uses WaveCart which is relatively expensive when compared to other software solutions out there and it's also simple enough to use so that it doesn't require too much training to get people up to speed on it.

BCI will now accept one digital system its made by radiomation and costs about 6,000
