There arent enough games out yet to make a decent top 5 saying that Zelda will top every list. Sports might get in coz its great a partys and introducing new gamers. But for me, out of the the released games (bar the 2 above), none would make it into my top 5.

There are only about 5 games out :) (close enough!) ...
Zelda and Excite Truck are my favourites.

    1. Zelda
    2. Wii Sports
    3. Rayman
    4. Super Monkey Ball
    5. Wario

These are just the ones I've played so far. Haven't played Excite Truck.

I wouldn''t personally recommend anything below #3 on that list.

    1. Zelda
    2. Excite Truck (maybe because it's new)
    3. Rayman
    4. Wii Sports
    5. Warioware

I don't have 5 games. Seriously, why do people spend 60euro on sh1te games? There aren't many decent games out there at the moment.

Yeah i kind of agree with him. While i dont think they are all sh!te, they are all fun and different from whats on other platforms. But there are a lack of decent titles out. we need a bunch of good games to come out at the same time

Zelda is fantastic, though I haven't played many other Wii games. Red Steel isn't very good though my friend seems to like it. I've been spending the last while playing Gamecube games in anticipation, borrowed NFS: Underground and TimeSplitters 2 off a friend.

Only got my Wii yesterday.. love Wii Sports and bought Zelda today on the basis that it seems to be unanimously the best game available for the Wii.

Might buy Rayman next week, and WiiPlay for the extra WiiMote along but not much else has taken my fancy.

    My fav wii games are:

    1: Zelda - Naturally
    2: Rayman - great craic!
3: Excite Truck - Just got this and it's a lot of fun. Not a serious racer, but it's good for exactly that reason!
4: Wario Ware - Simplistic, but a lot of fun, even though when there's anyone else there, you feel silly playing it, you get to laugh at them doing it too ;)
5: Red Steel - Much maligned by many people, but I found it easy to control straight off, and I am enjoying it a lot!

    1) Zelda (was one of the best games I ever played)

    2) Madden ( Just keep finding myself going back to this for its fun and brilliant control system)

    3) Red Steel ( get past the first 3 buggy levels and it opens up to be a brilliant game even better in multi player)

    4) Wii sports ( If you have friends around there is no better multi-player. If you are an online player then your screwed you losser!!)

    5) Rayman (A Riot a minute laugh but didn't find it replayable after completetion)

    Other Games:

Monkey Ball: Oh crap where did it all go wrong? Much better versions on the Game Cube. Very disapointed

Excite Truck: Loved it great fun still exploring it

Wii Play: except for the Tank game and the Hockey it makes a lovely coaster

Wario Ware: First time getting a Wario game. Enjoyable but have not tried the multi player yet. Found some of the controls dodgy in some rounds.

Call Of Duty 3: Wow very mixed with this some times it works sweet other times say when activity gets heavy it tends to slow and your gun goes on a wonder or just doesnt shoot. Look past this and it is fairly good.

Barnyard: The kids are loving this but very simple. Great intro for kids to try free roaming games

Kororinpa: You will want to put your granny through the TV challenging and great multiplayer fun

I disagree, I think the whole game feels very buggy and half-hearted, like it was rushed to be out for release date - everything from levels down to enemy AI, graphics and controls. Still my friend seems to like it so perhaps I'll give it a second chance.

After you learn how to do that bullet time thing in red steel and more sword moves it gets much much better. Cleared it a bout 3 weeks ago and enjoyed every bit of it.
    It kinda grows on you i think.;
    Great Game...

Have to agree with Gonzo above, give it six months and then ask.

On yours and many others advice, have invested in Rayman so now own the top 3 on the list.

Bought Zelda yesterday (despite being vastly bored by the previous series) and i love it. Wii Sports is great... love the tennis, bowling - but am brutal at baseball though.

Yep.. decent Wii games seem to be slim pickings for the time being alright.

Oh, and while you're all talking about Red Steel I'd like to add my two cents. I only have Zelda and Red Steel (and Wii Sports of course) but despite my frustration at a lack of decent titles out there at the moment, I actually enjoyed Red Steel! I don't see the problem with it...? The controls are easy to master and it's good fun. Multiplayer is cool - still haven't explored it fully. And you're able to replay levels at your leisure which is a nice feature.

The game itself I found pretty easy, that would be it's *only* fault. There were only a couple of levels I struggled on. Apart from that I think it was fairly good, for a launch title.

Other than Zelda all my favourite Wii games are virtual console games. R-type 3 is rocking my world! Only problem is that the sperm in level 2 boss has been replaced by crap looking eyeballs since it's the european version. When I buy either a porno or an R-type game I expect sperm!

    1. Madden 07
    2. Wii Sports

That's it. I was disappointed with Zelda and Wario. Play was about as good as it should be for a fiver :)
