    A class trio you say?

Have been here and here before. Would highly recommend the 2nd one (in Laois) but if its too far then its too far.

Moved to the aptly named Paintballing forum. Paintballing is a good laugh, but I couldn't recommend anywhere in your part of the country.

Whatever you do, don't go to the "urban" paintball in Santry, beside Kart City. 'Tis poxy. It's cheaper and more convenient than one in the mountains, but there's a reason for that. It's too hard to get around, and too open for beginners, so anyone with any experience can just pick people off. Plus, when we went, it was with the social club in work and i booked it for 16 people. When we got there, 2 of them had pulled out and afterwards your woman charged me for the full 16. When i questioned this, i was told "yeah, but we had to get the gear and guns out and prep'ped for all 16 so it costs that much whether you all arrive or not".

    Scumbags.

Im guessing your from UCD, hence based in Dublin. I would recommend Crossfire for some action in the woods. This is good if you like sneaking around and pretending to be rambo.

If you like the tournament version of paintball, 'speedball', then Barrage Paintball in Ashbourne is the place for you. They also have an urban style game area, but it is still in development.

If you want a class day out then go for Barrage. You can go paintballing in the morning, then go indoor karting in the same place and then go to the pub and have food in the restaurant which is all on site. Showers as well.

I had bad experiences with urban paintball. I use to go there once every two weeks but i got fed up.
