A bit more expensive at £57.99 +p&p but this will wirelessly stream video to your TV as well as music to your stereo without running the gauntlet of ibood and available everyday!

ohh, I was looking at the ibood one when i decided to check this thread. That device looks cool, its an ADS MXL-581, which is not mentioned on that site.

I've been doing a bit of searching and as usual its lots cheaper in the US. Anyone know a place selling the pal one here for less than the £57.99 linked above?

I did a bit of googling and came across this review from a 2 year old PC Format.

"The display, for example, is fine when you look at it straight on, but it's as clear as a winter's day in Cleethorpes when you look at it from an angle. And it's an awful-looking and cheap-feeling blob of plastic..... The software, too, is lacking. You'll need to get hold of software such as Musicmatch Jukebox to serve your music for you - a simple weblink is included on the CD. But if you haven't got broadband, that's a full 24MB download."

There are some positives (easy setup, internet radio), but I think I'll pass....

So how does it actually work.

You'll need a wireless network anyway.
So bring the device up to my room and hook up to my hifi.
Then select the network on it and select mp3s & play?

Where does musicmatch jukebox come into it?
Wouldn't fancy having to use that again.

That Wireless Entertainment Receiver looks the business, has anyone used one of these before. How does it work, can you browse shared folders on you networked machines?

I just replied to the confirmation mail i got after the order: orders@ibood.com

the mail was autogenerated but i think it might still the address for queries.

slightly OT: wtf is is with the idiots that post in the discussions?
    "good one ibood!!"
    "I want this!!"
    etc

are they posted by ibbod themselves? idiots!

I certainly think so. What kind of nerd would you have to be to add "great ibood!" to a discussion on a product. Who would be arsed??

Also, the amount of "I'm getting one of these for my gf" or "great price, thanks ibood". Either it is iBood posting the comments or there are alot of dickheads using the site....

Got mine earlier this week. Easy to setup. Amazing amount on internet radio stations on it. Well worth the money...

"Great Ibood" - as they say!

    Sorry to hi-jack.

    Re IBOOD:

It took a whole month to receive the first product I ordered (their cs is non existent). After about 2 weeks of trying to contact I got in touch with them. They apologised and gave me a free postage token. Like a fool I ordered another product nearly a month ago, STILL WAITING

They are only in Holland. I have already received items I bought off play Asia and American ebay sellers which were ordered after this.

Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend buying their products.

    Edit: to correct the speeling
